Our team is allied with you to helping your goals for relationship success. As we work together with our clients, often there is a journey of wisdom and self-awareness.

We care about our clients. If you are accepted as a client, we will be thinking actively about your matches, your dates and ways to help you find the love that you want. That requires time and attention. Therefore, we cannot accept more than 8 clients at a time, otherwise it can impact the quality that we bring to our clients.

This also results in higher fees as this is a bespoke service. We are a boutique firm, not a large agency with each matchmaker handling dozens of clients. Cassindy is personally involved in matching, interviewing, and reviewing candidates for your matches.

Memberships are typically 6-month or 12-month packages.

Our goals are for you to meet and find a long-term relationship, but we also understand that our clients are active with family, businesses, and travels. For memberships, there can be a pause option for 3 months. This also happens when some clients are actively dating one of their matches and want to see how that works out, or not.

Of course, you will be shown photos and curated bios of your matches. We will be screening matches carefully for you based upon your criteria. Regarding the sharing of your photos, that is dependent upon your requirements as to when your photo is shared.

Generally, you can expect to meet 2-4 curated matches each month. Depending upon the client’s availability for dating, there are packages with more dates. If the client’s requirements are especially narrow, then there could be less matches. This can be discussed during our call.

Once we have received general information for your profiles, a 1:1 zoom, phone or in-person meeting is set-up so Matchmaker Cassindy can learn more about you and the type of people you wish to meet.

We will also schedule a session with our selected photographers for natural dating photos that highlight your best attributes and help our client be their best. This will become part of a thoughtful and forthright profile that we write for you.

Then we actively work on your search – and then we will be in contact with you with initial matches who are intrigued and interested to meet you. Notably we will have screened and checked that these women are keen to meet you.

Depending upon the client’s preferences, we can either then exchange contact information or arrange the first date location and make a reservation on your behalf. First dates and impressions are important and our goal is to take the stress away so that you can show up and enjoy the fun of meeting someone selected for you.

Following each date, we are keen to understand how it went and what your impressions were. This process can be iterative and as we know how your found each date and your feed-back then that informs us when finding your next date and matches. Of course, our cupid’s arrow has struck early too and if you want to see your date again, we welcome you to continue that date. And if you also want to have another match, then we can arrange that as well.

Also, we ask that you complete your profile and we will review our databases and conduct a specialized search on your behalf. And when we find a match searching for someone like yourself – we will reach out to set-up a connection so that a date or connection can happen.

And feedback is always important. After each date or connection we ask for your and his impressions on how things went.

Sometimes good matches take time, and our database may not have an appropriate match now but we are always talking and meeting with many people and matches can happen later.

We have been matchmaking for over 15 years. Cassindy and Dana were college classmates at Wellesley and have enjoyed working together to help our clients find love. Dana has an MBA from Harvard and has a strong background in Marketing and Education. Cassindy was a former banker at Goldman Sachs and originally matched dozens of couples in college from Ivy League institutions in New England. Cassindy is dedicated to matching Asians and those who love them and works hard to understand and learn about cultural differences. Our network is truly of a high caliber with women who are lovely, intelligent and warm.

Cassindy and Dana have extensively recruited women from our private network of women’s college alumnae, graduate school, community organizations, artists and musicians. Cassindy came to matchmaking both early and late. As a student at Wellesley College in the 1980’s, she first plunged into matchmaking informally — setting up a service in her dorm room to get prom dates for college students in the Boston area. (Demand got so high that she soon found herself setting up dates as she sat in her Asian American history class.)

But she left that behind when she graduated with a degree in economics and Chinese studies and began a successful career in banking. That career took her to Wall Street and then to Hong Kong– first at at Bear Staerns, then at JP Morgan, and then at Goldman Sachs.

One day while on the job for Goldman Sachs in Hong Kong the firm’s chairman, John Corzine dropped in for a visit and promptly tried to fix up Chao on a date with another young banker. (It did not work, but Chao soon met her future husband Fred at a 30th birthday party of a mutual friend.) A few years later when Chao returned to the US to work at a Silicon Valley start-up, she began tinkering with matchmaking again as an escape from the toxic workplace culture of the firm she had joined. In fact, returning to matchmaking was so restorative that Chao decided to quit the start-up and go all in on matchmaking. She obtained a “Love M.B.A.” — the nickname given to matchmaking training with legendary relationship expert Rachel Greenwald, who is said to have brought together more than 800 couples.
